If you are planning to stay around for the both weekends and wanted to take for a few days
check out flights from Cork to Paris etc.
some of these flights are only available in the summer

  1. I would recommend flying into Cork airport (ORK)easiest is to fly through Heathrow London (I hate the airport but what can you do)United,British Airways,Virgin all fly direct from SFO to London and then after a long long walk you get on a one hour flight to Cork...You should arrive in London after an overnight long flight in the morning and then hopefully into Cork at either 11.30am,1.30pm or 4.30pm (last flight is at 730pm I think).I will pick you up the airport(so no need to rent cars for at least 2-3 days,no real need to rent cars at all if you dont want to)and its a 20min ride to Kinsale..Air france can get you in through Paris and KLM through Amsterdam but you might have 4-6 hour layovers waiting for a flight to Cork(be sure to check that)if thats the case you should spend a night or two there on the way...Flight prices have been around $850-$880 for the last month..you might get a $750 flight a little after thanksgiving or Christmas in the usual sales but I would be surprised if you could get better than that...I will update this as I hear more
