March 9th birthday venue

So folks the Party will be at the Trident Hotel , The Worlds End, Kinsale
Now that's what you call an address.....Viking long ships tied up on the shore here back in the 800 AD and considered Kinsale the end of the civilised world(many would say that is still the case.....just joking)..

St Particks Day Parade

The parade is on Sunday the 17th and we are entered.I have a rough outline for design which I will tell you about if you contact me(want to keep it a little bit quiet for now)My brother in law Richard has been kind enough to allow me to assemble it in his shop and has priovided trailer and offered to towe the float...very kind of you Richard .I think it will be assembled and painted mid week so if anyone is available please let me know(no probs if yer off travelling)I am trying to keep the budget under $1000.00 so if you feel like chipping in a few bucks for materials etc it would be much appreciated.I will template the idea here and have it already to cutout, assemble and paint in Kinsale. .I will try to keep it simple but something we all will be proud of.It would be nice if we all dressed up with a little San Francisco in mind (a  SF giants  or Niners jacket and hat might do the job nicely)
The Parade is not big but it will be fun and we will make it a day to remember  of that I am sure..

kinsale wine museum

Trying to organize a wine reception at the Wine museum is not an option due to regulations and the it doesnt open until Easter, trying to do it elsewhere in Kinsale maybe get more complicated for everybody than I first thought. By chance there is a Wine Geese wine reception at Ballymaloe house on Sunday march 10th hosted by Chateau Lynch Bages winery (one Frances best wineries).I have reserved 10 places it is about $20.00/head for the tasting,(hoping about $30.00 for transport, its about a 45 min journey). There is a wine pairing diner for $120.00 after which is kinda expensive but for what they are offering probably well worth it. Ballymaloe is one Ireland's best restaurants and well worth a visit. They also have a nice cafe in Cork city in the Crawford art gallery that I have always enjoyed .Please get back to me to confirm numbers (we can always reduce numbers but it would be nice to let them know and I will need to arrange transport).
